I’m not sure of the age of this panel, but would estimate early 20th century. The carving is beautiful - the whole panel is covered in deep foliate designs. The panel already had edging along the short edges and we have added matching edging to the long edges where we had to trim it.
Condition: This was previously a door and there are some holes in the edge where hinges were fitted which we have filled in. There was a split along the width of the panel which we have repaired and it is now solid, but it is still visible - please see the photos.
