This chest of drawers is a useful size and very nice quality, with oak lined drawers with fine dovetail joints. The drawers have a delicate cockbead detail and there is a moulded edge to the top.

Condition: The top is a little paler than the rest of the chest - presumably it has been exposed to sunlight. There are a couple of small splits in the top and a small area on the back corner which appears to have been broken and reattached. The slide is lined with a felt type material which is quite worn. The piece of cockbead on the right hand edge of the slide is missing. There are a few areas of damage and repair to the veneer on the front of the chest, and general surface wear and patina in accordance with age and use. The drawers and slide all open and close smoothly.
