A lovely little 19th century footstool in walnut, with four beautifully turned legs and a moulded body. I think this would have had a cushioned insert in it originally - there is just a piece of fabric stuck to the base at present…

This footstool looks as though it could waddle away on its little legs! It is very cute, and I’m sure someone who knows how to sew could soon fabricate a new cushion for it. It has a mother of pearl disc inset into the underside - I don’t know why this is.

Condition: There are a few small chips and losses to the timber, but overall in good condition.
