This sweet little chair would suit a bedroom due to its compact size. The upholstery is good though the fabric is a little faded in places (though the overall effect is rather nice, I think). The forelegs are beautifully tuned and they have the original ceramic castors - I think these are Cope & Collinson (one of the castors is stamped ‘Patent’ preceded by three letters which I think are C&C but it is very hard to read), which are usually an indication of a good quality chair. The chair could of course be re-upholstered if desired, and we can provide a quote for this if you wish.
Condition: Good and solid, though the seat has sagged a little, however it is still perfectly useable and comfortable to sit in (if the chair was being reupholstered it would be worth getting the seat sorted out at the same time). There are a few minor marks on the fabric and as mentioned above it is a little faded. The castors don’t run very well. There are some minor scuffs and marks to the legs. Overall a lovely little chair.
