This is an attractive box and nicely made with some lovely timbers used for the veneers. I’m not sure why an Italian POW would have written a note on the box in English, but expect there is an explanation.
Condition: The box is in good condition overall. There is a small chip to one corner of the lid, and the lid is a little bowed.
