Gordon Clifford Barlow lived and worked in Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales, and most of his paintings are of rural landscapes in Yorkshire and elsewhere. He studied and later taught at Bradford School of Art. He exhibited at galleries in London and across the country.
Condition: The painting is in very good condition. The frame has a few small chips, the most visible on the inner gilt slip to the right.
