Gordon Clifford Barlow lived and worked in Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales, and most of his paintings are of rural landscapes in Yorkshire and elsewhere. He studied and later taught at Bradford School of Art. He exhibited at galleries in London and across the country.
Condition: The painting has some minor wear around the edges - I think it has been a little loose in the frame and has rubbed against it. Otherwise it is in good condition. The frame has a few minor signs of wear.

Including the frame, 64.5cm wide, 54.5cm tall, 5cm deep. The image size is approximately 49.2cm wide by 39cm tall
