The painting has two labels on the rear in german. I have included photos of the translation my phone app came up with - not sure if it’s totally accurate but seems to make sense. One is a brief biography of the artist, and the other seems to be references to him.
Condition: The frame has a few minor areas of wear. The painting is in good condition.

Including the frame, 57cm wide, 44.5cm tall, 2.7cm deep. The image size is approximately 47.5cm wide by 35cm tall.
