This jug combines two of my favourite things, art pottery and owls, and I absolutely love it! It’s one I think I’ll regret selling, but sadly I can’t keep everything.
Dennis Chinaworks was founded in 1993 by ceramic artist Sally Tuffin (who was art director for Moorcroft Pottery) and her husband, antique expert Richard Dennis, and still runs today from the converted stables of Victorian gothic rectory in Somerset. They produce hand thrown pottery influenced by British design and craftsmanship, especially the Arts and Crafts movement, which is highly sought after and collected worldwide.
