Condition: The bowl itself has no chips or damage but there are some pinprick flaws in the glaze. The lid has a couple of chips to the underside of the rim, not visible unless you turn it over. A few areas of the slip decoration on the lid has been chipped off at the high points but this isn’t very noticeable. There is some crazing to the lid. The lid doesn’t sit perfectly on the bowl - one or the other is not exactly circular so they don’t line up completely; again this isn’t especially noticeable. Both the lid and bowl are signed, with the bowl dated as well. A very attractive piece of pottery.
