I can never resist anything owl shaped and this little chap has a lovely slightly surprised expression - he’s very cute and very decorative! There is some damage though so please read the condition report below.
Condition: There is a creased/dinted area to the left hand wing - I don’t think this has actually split the metal but it is hard to be sure. There have been some losses to the feathered details around the neck of the head section, and the head doesn’t fasten onto the body properly - it’s fine if just standing on a shelf, but if you tried to actually use it as a sugar shaker the head would fall off as soon as you tipped it upside down. There are various small scratches and scuffs to the silver plate, most notably on the beak. Minor tarnishing to the silver throughout. He stands securely so is ideal as a purely decorative item.
